ERPNext Functional Consultant

We are looking for a highly motivated ERPNext Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in implementing, customizing, and supporting ERPNext across various business domains. You will work closely with clients to understand their requirements, map them into ERPNext modules, and ensure smooth adoption of the system.

Key Responsibilities

1. Gather and analyze client business requirements and translate them into ERPNext workflows.
2. Configure, customize, and deploy ERPNext modules (Accounting, Inventory, Manufacturing, HR, Projects, CRM, etc.).
3. Provide functional support, troubleshooting, and user training to ensure system adoption.
4. Prepare project documentation: requirement specifications, functional design documents, SOPs, and user manuals.
5. Collaborate with technical/development teams to design custom apps, reports, and API integrations.
6. Conduct data migration, validation, and system testing before go-live.
7. Stay updated with ERPNext updates, community best practices, and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Requirements

1. Proven experience as an ERP Functional Consultant, preferably with ERPNext.
2. Strong understanding of at least 2–3 ERPNext modules (e.g., Accounting, Manufacturing, Inventory, HR, Projects).
3. Knowledge of business processes across different industries (trading, services, manufacturing, distribution, etc.).
4. Ability to document workflows and explain solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
5. Experience in data migration, UAT, and go-live support.
6. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
7. Bonus: Exposure to Python, Frappe Framework, or API integrations.
